Data collection
Canvas Themes does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to the developer.
The extension stores your settings in chrome.storage.sync so preferences can sync across your signed-in Chrome browsers.
Permissions
- Storage: Save preferences and custom course image URLs.
- ActiveTab: Read the active Canvas tab when you request a refresh from the popup.
- Host permissions: Built-in access for
*.instructure.comandcourseworks2.columbia.edu, plus optional per-site access for other Canvas domains only when you grant it.
Third-party services
This extension does not use third-party analytics or ad trackers.
