01 Introduction

Canvas Themes is committed to protecting your privacy.

Canvas Themes does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to the developer.

The extension stores your settings in chrome.storage.sync so preferences can sync across your signed-in Chrome browsers.

Storage: Save preferences and custom course image URLs.
ActiveTab: Read the active Canvas tab when you request a refresh from the popup.
Host permissions: Built-in access for *.instructure.com and courseworks2.columbia.edu, plus optional per-site access for other Canvas domains only when you grant it.

This extension does not use third-party analytics or ad trackers.
